
Pilates is a total mind-body conditioning method that works by building strength from the inside-out. It is an exercise program based on developing your deep stomach and back muscle to create a stable central core from which you will develop flexibility, strength, tone and correct posture.

Created by Professor Rolando Toro Araneda in South America in the 1960’s, Biodanza is a movement based system of self-exploration and represents a unique synthesis of the arts and scientific understanding. During guided classes or ‘vivencias’, participants are invited to rediscover their innate creative expression through dances which encourage a deepening connection with self, others and the world around us.
Regular classes run on Mondays from 7:45pm
Yoga combines accessible, energising postures, movement and breath to create a flowing practice where the body can become strong and flexible & the mind calm and focused. The pace and intensity of the class will vary depending on the focus & intention of the class but you will always be guided into and out of the postures with fluidity and attention to breath, technique and alignment leaving you feeling strong, flexible, relaxed & happy. There are classes with Meg on Tuesday or Tina on Thursday.
The benefits of regular Tai Chi practice are well documented and include improved balance and coordination, increased physical strength and stamina and improvements in circulation and respiration. Tai Chi also helps calm the mind and improves focus.

Not only this but, sports professionals are finding that they are staying injury/pain free for longer and that their performance is improving across a wide range of sports such as, but not limited to, football, rugby, martial arts, running, motor sports, tennis, cycling, swimming, golf, dance etc. Bowen is effective in preventing injuries too. Beneficial results can often be seen from the first session but the length of treatment depends on the needs of the individual. .
