Wellbeing means different things to different people and there are many factors, both internal and external, which can affect our individual and our collective sense of being well.
So, what is it?
The Oxford English Dictionary describes wellbeing as “the state of being comfortable, happy or healthy” but a paper published in the International Journal of Wellbeing proposed an alternative definition…
“Wellbeing is a dynamic balance point between the challenges we face and the resources we have to help us meet those challenges.”
Here at Wellbeing at Roundhill, our intention is to co-create a space where people can come together as part of a nurturing, supportive community and explore ways to rediscover that balance for themselves.
